She was 15 when she was hired as a role in ABC's soap-opera, "The Edge of Night." The series aired from 1980 through the year 1983. During the mid and late eighties, she made appearances in numerous TV and feature film guest ads. Then, she was chosen to play Rebecca "Aunt Becky" Donaldson on"Full House," an ABC show "Full House" in 1988. While her character was not supposed to feature an arc of six episodes in the beginning but she was frequent throughout the duration of the series, becoming famous as Aunt Becky who was the wife to John Stamos' character Jesse Katsopolis. Loughlin starred alongside Tony Danza on the ABC sitcom "Hudson Street" in 1995 following the cancellation of "Full House" was cancelled.
